it was a great day but a tiring day too...
today gui eddie bin rui and i went to shop for our cny clothes..initially i only ask gui...while having dinner at 85 market ytd nite eddie said he want to join as he havent bought his cny yet..after hrs of persuading from eddie binrui join us too...
we supposed to meet at bugis at 3...but all of us were late so we ended up meeting each other at 3:30..we shopped at bugis junction until 5 as i need to go to vivocity to collect my liverpool long sleeve away jersy from cal...i felt guilt as i felt i caused the others not having enough time to shop ard bugis...but they are understanding and i am grateful to them...
i managed to reach vivocity on time and got the staff discount from cal...its still expensive though but i like it very much...this is my first ever long sleeve liverpool jersy...eddie joked that it looks like a pyjamas...binrui agreed...hougang gays...bo bian :)
next we shopped ard vivocity...i bought a long sleeve plain white shirt from domanchi and theres a 20% discount...i actually spot this shirt at the outlet at bugis junction...but there dun have the size i want...at vivo they also dun hagve the size i want...but after trying the other size i find it ok so i bought it...nowadays i like simple design...unlike my youth days, where fanciful pictures are my cup of tea...gui bought a cargo short from a brand i dunno how to speel it...its from london...eddie bought a long sleeve shirt at freshbox...
i rmb levis is having a special promotion - get 50 dollars discount when u trade in yr old jeans, any brand will do. so i brought my unwanted old jeans out...jus in case i want to buy a pair of levis jeans...i bought a pair and managed to get a 50 dollars discount...i thought this jeans matched my jersy and a few of my shirts at home...in the same store eddie and bin rui bought a t-shirt each...gui bought a pair of shoes...
lastly gui went to tangs to buy a t-shirt...we finished our shopping at 9 plus...a total of 6 hrs of shopping !! i felt tired...maybe because i dun shop oftenly ? ahaha !! i really admire the shopping sprit the gers have...
we settled our dinner at carls jr...at first we planned to try the famous prawn mee at farrer park ard little india...but we dun have enough time and all of us are tired and hungry...
cny is coming...i sincerly hope the year of ox will be a better year for me my family and my friends...i spent a lot today..i must admit...so theres a need for me to find a job after my examination...my ocp friends asked me to join another ocp at laos...the task is to teach the laotians english and IT skills...i ask myself, do i have the ability to teach them ? wads my purpose of going there ? i seek the answer from my true heart...i dun think i got the ability to teach them...if i go there i could only capture the beautiful scenary using camera...i will feel guilt if i cannot do anything to help the people...i will feel like a tourist instead of a volunteer ! sure i can receive a cert at the end of the day and enhance my portfolio...but its like buying the cert...i hope to get more info before deciding...and also due to my family circumstances i need to work and help to lighten my father's burden...i have to understand the fact that my family is not well fed as my other friend's family and i must kill off the envious and decide my own path...i dunno if i could afford to travel...although the air tickets could be paid using my PSEA account, i still need to save my travelling expenses...i hope i could given the opportunity to contribute more...to the people and the society then i might go...
i hope to secure a full time job which could enhance my professional in the future...i hope it can give my experience which could upgrade my personal knowledge and develop my character...if possible i hope to continue after my NS...if i choose to join the laos OCP i cant work a full time job for the moment...because i need to come back to sch for pre-ocp preparation...i can only start to work after my ocp trip, which is abt mid of april...so wad am i gonna do after my exam which is the end of feb till start of april before leaving from spore ?
i need to consider carefully...every step will decides my future
